Fissure

I’ve done a series of pieces which I call “Fissures”. Some of them come out of my head, some of them are based directly on photographs and some are abstracted from photographs. I’m fairly certain this series will continue off and on through out my life. The first I call a “redux” because I’ve changed the original some how – in this case by cropping it. I do this some times and then use pieces of the watercolors in collage.
