Day 17 back to the Pond

Back to Koi and a step backwards it seems. Here I thought I was getting them down pat, but this one was a bear and still isn’t right. Alas, every piece is an experiment and not every one can be a masterpiece. I’ll do one more Koi after this, but I think I’ll take my time with it over a few days. In the mean time I’ve some studies for larger pieces I need to do. There are two paintings that have been in my head for years. They need to get out!
