2018 Challenge

Saturday is the beginning of Leslie Saeta’s annual September 30 in 30 Challenge. I’m glad it starts on the weekend. I may be able to paint ahead and there not miss any days while babysitting my grandson. I’m looking forward to it, and at the same time a little reluctant. I’m not even finished with framing the backlog of work already in my studio. I don’t expect all my 30 paintings will be frameable but if even half of them are, I will be allotting another month just for framing purposes. I plan to work on a few of the Elements and Principles that I seem to repeatedly have difficulty executing properly. Here are some of the photos I may work from:
