Monoprints

I came to Monoprints out of etching. It is another way of using the press and a blank plate. I enjoy the unpredictability of it. Often, my monoprints are not “mono” at all. I like doing a series of the same print on different color papers. As the ink reduces and the paper changes the image takes on a totally different look and feel. Some “ghosts” are  good.
